A venue like no other in Europe, open to the general public as well as professionals. It was born from a collaboration between professionals and lovers of shaping with a desire to offer a space for discovering and sharing around surfboard manufacturing. It houses 4 rooms dedicated to manufacturing boards, shaper classes, a technical shop with all the necessary equipment for shaping a board, a cafe, a barber’s and a library.

In the space of just a few years, Samuel Dougados has established himself in the world of beach art (drawing on the sand with a stick or a rake) and has become a world champion.
"Beauty, to be moving, must be fleeting". Samuel Dougados, who goes by the artist name Sam, has made this Robert Doisneau quote his own.
Delphine Priem cuts the glass to carve the woman and the waves. She grew up close to the world of the sea and enjoys gliding and translates this into her mosaic works, embellished with materials she found, such as driftwood or broken glass - a nod to recycling and protection of nature, that she holds dear.
The biggest indoor skate park in the region opened in May 2017 in Biarritz: skateboarding lessons and courses for all levels and ages.Open from Wednesday to Sunday during term time and 7 days a week during school holidays (zone A).

Bd du Prince de Galles à Biarritz (juillet et août)
A true pioneer of surfing and wave photography since the late 1970s, Sylvain Cazenave has captured all the great moments of surfing and windsurfing all over the world.
(Hawaii, Australia, Tahiti, Fiji, California, New Zealand ...). He exhibits his most beautiful surf shots along with prints of Biarritz and the Basque Country in his photo gallery.
